Checking the server…

Java Edition

  1. Open Multiplayer, then Add Server. Any 1.21 client works; older 1.20 clients are translated on the way in.
  2. Server address: anotherworld.space Leave the port alone.
  3. Join, then set a password the first time. Type /register <password> <password>. Next time it is /login <password>. Paid accounts skip this.

Bedrock Edition

  1. Servers tab, then Add Server. Phone, console, Windows: all fine.
  2. Address anotherworld.space, port 19132. Console players who cannot type an address can use the usual DNS trick with the same address.
  3. Your name gets a dot in front. That is how the server tells Bedrock and Java players apart. Your skin comes through as it is.
One world for both editions. A Java player and a Bedrock player can build the same house and split the same shop.

Your first hour

  1. Take the starter kit. /kit starter gives tools and food. Ranks unlock better kits later.
  2. Walk into the city, or teleport out of it. Spawn is at the forest edge. /rtp drops you somewhere wild if you would rather start with land and trees.
  3. Claim before dark. Right-click two corners with a golden shovel. Everything inside is protected, and you start with enough claim blocks for a real plot.
  4. Set a home. /sethome once, /home forever. /spawn always gets you back to the start.
  5. Earn. /jobs to pick work that pays as you play. /shop to sell what you gather; prices move with the market.
  6. Ask Jarvis. Type jarvis followed by a question in chat. It knows the commands, the rules and the map.
